Attend NAIDEX And Reduce The Stress Of HPC Auditing

Healthcare professionals up and down the UK are awaiting their annual renewal notices from the Healthcare Professional Council and news on whether they have been selected for auditing, making it an anxious time for all.

Although the standards set are high they are by no means unattainable so long as HCPs can prove they have been maintaining and updating their professional knowledge to the benefit of the client and themselves. Naidex Scotland (September 14th & 15th SECC Glasgow) or Naidex South (October, 19th & 20th ExCeL London) both present ideal opportunities for healthcare professionals to update their CPD and general knowledge of the industry and the great news is that they are completely free to attend.

As with Naidex National in April, Naidex Scotland and Naidex South feature comprehensive CPD programmes developed by Kate Sheehan from the OT Practice. As Kate explained, the programmes at both events are thoughtfully prepared to ensure HCPs fully benefit from attending either show and update their clinical and strategic areas of practice. By taking the time to attend such events there is no need for an HCP to worry should they be selected for auditing.

HCPs can expect to be informed and inspired by a vast range of topics covered throughout the seminar programmes, including insights on the use of virtual reality such as the Nintendo Wii in rehabilitation at Naidex South. This subject generated a great deal of interest at Naidex National earlier this year and saw the seminar theatres filled to capacity. Sure to be equally as popular is the seminar entitled The Health Professions Council: Standards of Continuing Professional Development and your registration which forms part of Naidex Scotlands broad schedule.

As well as the free CPD accreditation that can be obtained by attending the extensive seminars at Naidex, the upcoming Scotland and South shows also provide an excellent opportunity to meet equipment providers and other trade members and discover all that is new and innovative in terms of independent living solutions. Networking is also beneficial when developing and growing as a professional, and the Naidex shows always promise to gather key industry figures under one roof, a rare occurrence considering the hectic schedules of HCPs and others associated with the healthcare and disability industries.

As Kate Sheehan advises, we need to be pro active in finding innovative ways of developing our own practice and it is our responsibility to register for events such as Naidex and take advantage of all that it has to offer us. So avoid missing out on a free and easy way to enhance your CPD and make sure you go to www.naidex.co.uk and register for free attendance for Naidex Scotland, Naidex South, or next years Naidex National quoting Priority Code EHPC
