Professor Judith Hall Crowned President

The Bill Mapleson Centre are extremely proud that our Founder and CEO, Professor Judith Hall OBE, has been crowned President of the Society of Anaesthetists of Wales

At the beautiful costal town of Ceredigion, SAW held its 2016 autumn meeting in the hallowed halls of the national library of wales.

Professor Judith Hall delivered her inaugural address as President of the Society, having taken the crown (chain Actually!) over from Dr Paul Clyburn earlier in the day.

RCoA Election to Council Results 2017

Voting for election to Council of the Royal College of Anaesthetists closed on Monday, 5 December at 5:00 pm. The College can confirm the following candidates have been elected:

As in previous years the ballot process was independent and managed by Electoral Reform Services (ERS). The full results can be viewed here. Terms of office commence in March 2017.

Dr Liam Brennan, President of the Royal College of Anaesthetists said: “I thank all 15 candidates for standing. Congratulations to all those successfully elected to council and I look forward to working with them.

“After what has been a difficult 12 months for healthcare it is great to see so many candidates and a high turnout. I am pleased that we continue to have an engaged membership who are the foundation of the College.”
