Introduction and Overview of Late Effects Cancer-related Pain in the Primary Care Setting

Aims:
The aim of the half day event is to give delegates an overview of cancer-related pain with a focus on assessment and support of those living with pain as a result of cancer treatments.

Learning Outcomes:
• Explore the impact and prevalence of cancer-related pain in those living with and beyond cancer
• Discuss how to undertake a holistic assessment of those impacted by cancer-related pain
• Identify the impact of cancer treatments on cancer-related pain and identify strategies for supporting those living with late effects cancer-related pain.

Audience:
It is aimed at those working in a community setting and those who support people living with and beyond the late effects of cancer treatments.
