BARNA Summer Conference 2019

BARNA (British Anaesthetic and Recovery Nurses Association) offers networking opportunities with colleagues in the field of perianaesthesia through attendance at study days, conferences and in social media.

 

2019 Conference topics include:

Difficult Airway - virtual edoscopy: A fascinating new 3D technique that could revolutionise the way we approach difficult airways

Hot topics in paediatric anaesthesia: Not confident in paediatrics? Well here's your chance to gain some valuable knowledge and improve paediatric care in your whole department

Sepsis - the hidden killer: An immensly interesting and essential topic that affects all healthcare professionals, regardless of the area, be sure not to miss!

NELA (National Emergency Laparotomy Audit)

Learning from reported incidents: Mistakes, everyone makes them, so find out how we can turn this into a learning experience

Hands-on workshops: Join in with our small-group teaching workshops and learn new skills, or brush up on those you think you need! There will be multiple companies demonstrating and teaching various airway techniques utilising the very latest technology. (Booking on registration will be required)

Registration fee includes all refreshments during the day: tea, coffee, juice, Danish pastries and cakes. Add a few rounds of speciality sandwiches and you have the BARNA catering experience!
