Infection Today Conference 2017

Cost: There are 100 free places open to IPS Members and West Midlands Regional Infection Prevention Group members. There are also 50 places available for non-members and association group members who may have missed one of the free places.

The Infection Prevention Society (IPS) West Midlands Branch would like to invite you to join them for their annual conference “Infection Today” on Wednesday 5th of July 2017 at Bethel Convention Centre, West Bromwich. This event is free for 100 members only of the IPS and West Midlands Regional Infection Prevention Group. There are 50 places available for £30 for non-members and any member who may have missed a free place.

As well as a varied programme, there will also be an exhibition with a wide variety of companies for you to visit and hear about new and innovative products to the market. This event not only offers sessions to visit, but the refreshment breaks are an ideal opportunity for you to socialise with like-minded colleagues and discuss the issues you face on a daily basis.

The conference will be of interest to Infection Control Nurses, Trainee Microbiologists, Microbiologists, Clinical Scientists, Infectious Diseases Physicians, GP’s, clinicians ,Pharmacists , PHE Staff, Quality & Patient safety Leads, Medical and nursing Training Leads , Health Improvement specialists in Local authorities plus other professionals working within this field.

This programme will focus on topical issues in the area of infection prevention and control looking at the achievements already made  within the region and how to maintain these going forward. For programme highlights see event details.
